Hello M & M,
are the camping sites for Caravans and Panel Vans near the cabins?

Re: 2010 VAN NATS
Hey Doug, and any one else that is interested.
The powered / caravan sites are next to / between / around the area where the cabins are. The general camp are is beside this. We will endevour to get a map of some sort with the layout together over the weekend and post it for all to see.

Day entry
We have had a few enquiries regarding entry for the show on show day. The cost for the Vehicle is $30 which includes the driver. other people in the vehicle will pay public fee. when you get to the gate advise who ever is there if you want to hang around for presentations as different entry procedures are required.
Any one coming down for the day who decides to stay for the night will have to pay the appropriate over night camping fee $30 per head per night for adults, $15 per head per night for kids. this goes for anyone coming down for any period over the weekend. As this is a private camp ground we have to play by their rules.
We have also had one complaint that when a potential entrant went to the venue it was windy so they might not come. The fact that it was windy every where that day???? we can not control the weather and being Phillip Island which is often cold there is a fair chance we might get some wind and even some rain. that is why we picked a venue with good indoor facilities just in case the weather turns bad.
Anyone wanting sponsorship packages they are now done, if you can not download them from the various locations they have been posted please let us know and we will send them to you.
We are still low on entries at the moment. if no-one wants a nationals please let us know so we can make other arrangements.
Thank you

Re: 2010 VAN NATS
Finally worked out how to put pics up here so here are a few of the Nats venue as requested.
Will try to post a few more when time permits
Camping area Green grass, basic street lighting so you can find your way around at night
The powered camping area is right next to the previous camp area.
The show and shine area and public car park for the Sunday, about 25 acres to play with.

The numbers are about double what we get to the average VCV meeting. I believe to date we have 10% from QLD and 90% from Vic. Lots of people say they are coming but not many have entered.
