Re: OLD SHOW VAN PHOTO'S
Hey James,
Foxy lady's number plates no are on a van I love, a 1934 sedan delivery. It did have a butcher shop graphics down the side and green highlights (wheels, grill) now is Bakers van with orange highlights. The sliced plates suit it as the slogan reads "for a top slice" it has a 4 inch chop to it. I wil lhave to try and dig a photo up of it, comes from down Vandil's way.

No he's not. I think that's the Tony that owned the auto parts store in Boronia? - he's now sold the store, he's gotten rid of a lot of other stuff and from what i've heard he's packed up (or will be in the near future) and will be moving to Ararat or Hamilton or somewhere around there. His health is crap, not sure what is wrong, but he's not well at all, which is why he's given up the shop. So, whatever happens to Foxy Lady, you're guess will be as good as anybody's.

I'm a Holden fan but i must admit that the Concorde is one of the few Ford vans that i like.

Aparently Col has done a lot more work on the Concorde van , so it will be good to see how it is now, hope he brings it down to the Nats.

Re: OLD SHOW VAN PHOTO'S
Sadly this van no longer exists, well parts of it do anyway. Was found at a tip near Canberra, a guy bought it home with lots of good bits on it still. It had a WB statesman front on it but that was gone as was all the running gear, it had a hard hit on one of the rear quarters and then basically stripped and taken to the tip. The guy got in contact with me and i drove to Canberra and with negotiations of a slab of beer it was mine, unfortunately too much work to rebuild so now the murals are in my shed and the rear of the van is now in the process of becoming a bar in the garage.
