OLD SHOW VAN PHOTO'S

good eye. as im guessing it wasnt left hand drive.

just goes to show how observant we go through life... missing the small details that can make a difference....

Was talking to a bloke on the weekend who had a van in Tamworth called "Orient express"
Supposed to have been a HX or HZ.
Did anyone ever hear of this van??

i want the wheels of that red van

They look like 12 slotters or are they something else??

Nice to see a few of the old vans. That photo of werners black van didnt go on to become PARANOID werner actually owned the balack one while he was building paranoid and it was named BLACKMAIL. Unfortunatly blackmail is no longer as it turned up at eagle auto wreckers in dandenong and the wrecker refused to sell it complete so the front ended up on the front of a XC van named POOR MAN'S PRIDE.
By the way Monk have you got any idea where Bill is now.

No l dont know where Bill is now, lost contact with him
but l was with a mate when he brought that Black LTD front for that XC van from the Frankston Pines back around 1987-88
His name was Bob a tall thin lad who was poor but had his heart in vanning
unfortunately l lost contact when l left my ex mattress back & moved inner city more
in fact l was in Bobs XC van when we caught her out hahaahha thanks the lord he was a good bloke Bob, think his wife name was Trish

My heart is still in vanning and I am about to start a new project that will hopefully be on the road in about 12 months.

l lived in Frankston also in the mid 80's

Yes I knew Bill and have found out since I asked you that the last anybody heard of Bill is that he is living somewhere near Shepparton and own a couple of Interstate trucks. Also I see Bob every time I look in the mirror
