Re: Vans on the street
Seen in a local street near my work, very nice van with modern VX SS / CV6 Monaro Rims, had SND MAN Number plate on dash, and also a NSW Club rego label on drivers side front screen - wierd anyone know the owner I left my card and asked if nterested in runs or meets
Thanks
Wally
Also seen a bronze/gold Sandman heading along Pacific Hwy coming into Sansea the other day missed the picture

Flicking through old Street Machine mags and found it in Readers Rides July 2004. Certainly the same one "SNDMAN" plated and VX SS mags as well. Doesn't say where it is though. Hope this helps, Wild Wally.

The red Sandman looks to be a HZ model which is usually '78-79 only small differences with previous model, but that's definately a great example of a non-molested Sandman. ('cept for maybe the stickers came off)
great work groover. - lets hope he doesn't actually take it to the grave with him...
While that would be the coolest coffin of all time, or the first time I heard of being buried WITH the hearse, I think that it might be put to better use with one of us who can look after it for him

Re: Vans on the street
re stripeless... watching the Aussie Top Gear last nite, apparently stripes are in for Fords & Holdens when sales are low.... so watch out for the latest models with stripes.... they do this, rename or give it a zooped up name, and sell them off when they have excess bodies or sales of current models are low, they did this in the 70's and 80's as well. and, on a brighter note.... for those interested.... the UK Top Gear starts again next week!!!!!! Yippeeeeee
