You can tell it's a victorian van.
Look at the roof spoiler.
From what i've seen:
QLD - USUALLY have no spoiler
NSW - USUALLY have the normal spoiler
VIC - USUALLY have the bobtail spoiler

Agro, NSW were more common with the bobtail (normal) and Vic had the Condor Wing as more common

saw the "hearse" the other nite driving home from the VCV meeting, think it's a commodore which has a really high back and it's extra long, unfortunately only glanced it as I was turning off onto the S/Eastern and it went straight up Warrigal Rd. I'll keep an eye out for it, if i see it again, i'll try to take some photos. looks really good even though it's plain silver

Richard has a photo, unfortunately only the rear end, he thought it was a Holden (taken from his truck going up northern suburbs somewhere) - hope the pic shows

yep window is bigger, seems the wheelbase is longer too. unfortunately, i've never seen it parked anywhere, i only ever see it going in the other direction or heading off somewhere into the sunset. one day i'll hopefully be able to get it to pull over and find out the story behind it (and maybe even convince them to come along to a meeting and sign up as a member - wow!).

yep James, I've found out in the meantime they are the coroners vans. this is what they use to pick up the deads from hospitals etc. Still think it'd look good with murals down the sides etc. Be interesting to see what they're worth. May do some investigating, at a guess they'd be basic since dead people don't need creature comforts. Did end up asking why they needed to be so high, seems they stack 'em up in the back... oh just the thought of it.
