wow there's some great shots of some really cool vans. must have been a great show.

that black EK flip front looks sweet. the tailights aren't original are thay? wagon or chev grafted?? always thought that's how they should have come, though prolly a bit showy for a early 60's workhorse. same with the EH van... look great with wagon tail lights like LeBrese's green SMOTY Eh delivery

alot of vans seem to be getting about

hey Alex and Daz, the pics look great. Yeah, i worked the taxi yesterday, driving around Pakenham, i had customers tapping me on the shoulder pointing to the road ahead.... i kept lookin at the cars going by! There was some very good stuff showing up at the rod show. I did see a lot of good stuff parked out front as well. Maybe next year we could get a display together? Maybe next year i'll take the Sunday off and organise a display if our president at the time doesnt. See how we go. Your show looked good too Daz, good to see a few showing up there too.

remind me not to take your cab on a nice day incase some cool rides drive past.. because i'll be pointing out the ones you didn't see. this = crash. oops.

Johns Picnic is a great day out, normally rains, so it was great to get there and have a real good look around. There was honestly something for any any taste of custom work. Olds Kool is certainly making a come back. The EK Van I think was a wagon that had a van roof and sides put on. There were a few tell tail signs in the weld marks. The sticker on the back promoted the FBEK car club of NSW, so there might be a few clues there. The cut of for enrty was 75 thats why I took the rod out instead of the van.

HEy guys, went out today to Catho as there was a Hot Rod show on and saw this van. Wonder who owns it . Looks tops in the flesh. Couldnt find an owner near the van to say hello to. Oh well maybe next time. Excuse the pics my young blokes took them.

It also stands out in a crowd.

Looks very good, u should try finding this bloke, errr, girl?? and see if you can sign'em up to a club.... and they are good photos....
