Sandman Sticker Sets Question

Has anybody used these Sandman stickers before and if so any feedback?

i got a set for mine made by a company called stripemaster, the price for making and fitting was $600. i can only recomend you get the colours in different layers, rather then all printed on one layer, it gives a much crispe line as the decals are cut sharp rather than relying on the printer making a fine line. i have seen a few vans with printed decals and they look great but when you get up close you can see the line is a bit fuzzy.

The first place, Bannockburn is just north of Geelong, maybe one of the Geelong vanners can advise you on that one?

I bought mine from the Sandman car club of Vic bloke that sells on Ebay, They where the best I had seen, a mate bought a set the same time from another company in NSW, he has since replaced his set on his van with the same company I bought from, it wasnt untill he parked his van next to mine that he could see the differance, hope this helps, Andrew.

the sticker set i got for my white sandman was brought from a guy in Adelaide. 3 guys bought a genuine set off ebay to make sure they were flat and straight. there was a guy in Melbourne who was a little bit dearer and bought the inks from my guy in Adelaide but he traced them off a van.this van had a wonky tailgate sticker from factory and they were made the same way. i know as i know the van. the guy in S.A ended up clear coating his stickers and when i did a promo for a guy.i buffed over the stickers and gave them a nice shine again.i dont know how many times i spilt fuel down my stickers or put my grasey hands over them as i slid out from under my van after working on it. bit of prepsole and they were cleaned up again. i had them on my van for 4 years and when i sold it. they still looked brand new. the guy i bought them off put on a set on his van 10 years ago and they still look good today

Hey Ian, the guys nick name was (Sticks), he owns a cafe in Geelong and is a founding member of the Sandman car club, very nice guy to deal with and if you buy the stickers and dont go through Ebay he drops the price,give me a Pm if you want me to find out his number for you as I have it at home, cheers Andrew.

does anybody know if there has ever been success at laying the stripes in paint? probly wouldve sounded silly in the day with everybody taking them off. not much point if you're a maticlulous factory condition sort of Van owner, but i'd be interested in seeing any examples of painted logos/ stripes. I know the Race paint on the mambo van was well done, and have seen a reproduction here or there...

only put on tailgate sticker and sold the stripes
