Southern's Knox Cruise Nites...
They're happenin' again now that it's summer time, so stay tuned and we'll keep you posted. From memory, they're the first Tuesday nite of the month in the cage at Knox Shopping Centre in Wantirna, gold coin(s) donation for entry. Just park, wander, drool, stand proud or catch up... choice is your's. Hope to see a few Vic's there or even some visiting from interstate. Thanx M

Hello all,
If u can make it, would luv to c u there....should be good weather so bring out your toys, suggest you byo some drinks, they do sell some but last time ran out, got some more and ran out again.....
For those that are not sure where it is, drive to Knox City Shopping Centre, take the entrance opposite Tyler Rd off Burwood Hwy, should be called Capitol City Blvd, just head straight down and you'll see the "cage" on the right hand side. The entrance is at the end of the street straight ahead, Southern's guys will be standing there to guide you in. A gold coin(s) donation is the entry fee. Park your vehicle and then set off to look at everything. No polishing, cleaning etc etc. There's a variety of motorised transport, bikes, boats, street machines, hot rods, do-er uppers, in progress etc etc. It's not a show n shine, it's just a display - great for networking. Hope to see you there.
Thanks M

I'll be there, trying my best to convince a few others (who normally hide) to come out and play tonight!

I don't know enough people in that scene to organise something with them.

even if you only know a couple of people and the whole thing starts off small.... they all started that way and have gradually moved to bigger carparks... Just giv'em a call and suggest it... or maybe even go to a meeting and introduce yourself and suggest it... there's always the hardcore who will turn up and if you all reliably turn up at the same time each month, eventually word gets out. So what if it's only 5 - 10 vehicles to start with.... eventually from "little things, big things grow" (get your minds out of the gutter!).

Re: Southern's Knox Cruise Nites...
Here's my 2cents worth... not as many cars this time since it bucketted all morning and didn't stop till mid afternoon. So most didn't bring their toys out. Then it started spitting again and there were a stack that ran back to their cars to put the tops up, shut windows and then drive off. Still an ok nite. If Santa had been better looking I would've taken a pic of him errrr her as well. Thanks for your pics John.
