Southerns Cruise Nite Knox City Tuesday 10/2/09

Don't forget cruise nite tomorrow nite.... hopefully have a few more vans there tomorrow nite... there's only a couple of months left before it gets too cold - don't laugh! this is Melbourne, 46deg one day and 20deg the next....! I hopefully got a few others coming tomorrow nite, a couple of guys from work are interested too, though they may only come for a looksy....

Thanks. The night was pretty good. We had three vans, mine, Mandy P and Bec (who is soon to be a new member of the VCV). Her & her boyfriend came down in their WB. They also had some other friends there. Seems the girls are representing the Van Council nowadays??? LOL. Also Vandil showed up for a visit on his way to somewhere else and i dragged another guy from work along as well who had never been, owns a van (unfortunately a rust bucket), and is now sooooo motivated, his 7 year old daughter was giving him a hard time and asking why daddy's van isn't on the road - u go girl! Heaps of stuff there. It's good for lookin' and networking. Only took 2 pics which didn't really turn out well. There's two more months of these, 2nd Tuesday in March and 2nd Tuesday in April. So if you can, make a note in your diaries and come and join us.

I worked on the pics and here they are, the orange sandman is for sale, unfortunately the pics are just stuck on. The combi is reasonable, wanted a closer shot but by the time i got there again he was gone. The etchings are on the back of a ute. There was another purply Ford as well, they all got brochures. Forgot to take photos of our "van group", hopefully next time i'll remember.

Hey Van, (hmm, sounds like a slogan, LOL) Pencil in 10th march if you can... it runs from around 6pm to 8:30pm depending on weather and daylight. The april one is on the 14th, we've got the vans nats at that time, might not be there as I'll be heading back from Geelong. But if you can take a break and head over for the next one, come and say hi. April is the last one, they run it over the summer/daylight savings period, so after that, at a guess it won't start again till Oct 09 .... shall keep people posted. thanks M
