Re: Show us your Van
once the van is done and i am sure the lights are right i will run a bead of sikaflex around them they wont fall out then and also will seal it of to thanx wizardmazdragon wrote:guess, suppose it should hold... used to have something similar on the VR wagon i had as in side indicators, but every now and then they popped back out again by themselves. You had to slam them back in again, but of course make sure you didn't dint the panel in doing so... now the wagon's dieded....
also just had another look, and i really really like the paint .... the sparkle/flecks are just amazing, really can't wait to see it in real life...

Re: Show us your Van
have to ask this - Holden brought out the beddys so why didnt they change the name due to the bedFORD being more name sake of its opposition???????????????????????????????
Re: Show us your Van
It was originally BENDford due to the fact that if it plowed into a Ford there would be very little left of the Ford.
Ford sulked when they heard about this and pleaded with the General to change the name. The General went with Bedford because Van of Holden Spirit was too long for the front badge.

Re: Show us your Van
It was something like that.....The details are a bit sketchy due to the amount of Rum consumed during the local briefing...

Re: Show us your Van
Bedford is the commercial arm of Vauxhall Motors, which was taken over by GMC in the thirties, along with Opel Performance, Holden Special Vehicles and Lotus Sports Cars, not all at the time ofcourse. They even made tanks during WW2 I think chassis where imported to Australia and Im sure Holden made their own bodies, or something similar to that!!! But a Bedford anorak might be floating abouthighwaymenace wrote:have to ask this - Holden brought out the beddys so why didnt they change the name due to the bedFORD being more name sake of its opposition???????????????????????????????
