Sold it in bits, Genuine 74 HQ Sandman, last of the line with the HJ Quarters ( no Vents ) hardest ones to find, looked great, bought it with a buggered 308, on Gas, stato front, all the Sandman goodies, decked out rear, retrimed throughout, 3.08 LSD Sals, auto, great paint.
What a bargain, $2000, what a shitbox, completely full of rust, dream van gone bad, complete stripout and selloff, only kept radiator and thermos which are now in my current van.
Not a van i really talk about due to it being a very sore point in my life, disapointment plus, doubled my money on the stripout but really liked this van, bog central, beyond repair.

Hi Everyone, Well my story is the worst we left the transit in Melbourne after last years Nats and flew home to Perth and we will be flying back from Perth to pick it up the week before this years Nats so i have not been able to do anything at all this year the new engine conversion blew out a little as there were major problems found elsewhere in the Transit but it will be great to have it back after 12 months.
Regards
Paul and Sue

Hi Kathy,
Its the Engine (chev) thats giving us problems at the moment its not supposed to be there and its protesting ie not wanting to fit correctly.

You can always give me the engine Paul, so that you wont have a problem anymore with the Transit hahaha, and put the chev motor where it belongs. I'd be willing to help you out

nice try Kath, i think this power plant will be worth a fortune.
Re: What stage is ya van @ for the Nats????
Lot more than we originally planned mainly because of the other major problems and some extras that i did add as well.
