Re: Show us your Van
Ok, thought I would show you my project, doesnt look much but weve been a long way together...
Started out just a weekend camper for festivals, so I fitted it out nice and simple, a bit of cheap carpet and couple of caravan lamps.
After stumbling across the Ford Transit Forum, I wanted to personalise the van a little... but nothing on the store shelf unless you own a VW, so I had to make something!!! So made my own grill out of a MK3 & a MK4, brought some stainless mesh and after a week or so of rubbing, glueing, burning myself with the hot air gun and a fair bit of swearing, I was real pleased with myself. The bug had gotten me.
Anyway, I could rattle on all day, heres a couple of pictures of 'Plain Jane' a couple of years back and more recently. Come visit us in rainy England via my weblink.
and a recent trip into London before we are banned in 2010

what do you mean "and a recent trip into London before we are banned in 2010 ". I know they're putting restrictions in place for driving in London central and have already started taxing for the pleasure (or not!)of it. Does this mean no more cars in central London?

Well, its as good as banned.... it will be £200 per day for non euro compliant vehicles, but Ive now found a way around it!
Im just going to take out my economical diesel and fit a V6 petrol instead, stick that in ya pipe, BoJo (Boris Johnson), infact, eat my twin pipes LOL

I knew they were doing something along those lines... i hope they also charge the cops for taking their vehicles in! Oh well, it was always on the cards, London central has always been a problem with congestion etc. Never mind, you can then enjoy the power of a v6 vrmmmmmmmmmm

The sad thing about it, is that it will cover almost to the M25 orbital motorway in the outer counties...mazdragon wrote:I knew they were doing something along those lines... i hope they also charge the cops for taking their vehicles in! Re: Show us your Van
The dint was there when i bought it Rapman.
There are some dints here and there, but due to my inexperience at doing this type of thing, i have found some that i didn't even know they were there.
But i have learn't a heap from doing this van up so i'll be better prepared for the next time i do a vehicle up.

And here's the girly comment. I love that colour Agro. It is the exact colour of one of my favourite nail polishes.
