Re: Show us your Van
welcome to another Mandy. Your van should come to the next VCV meeting which is 1st thursday of each month at 68 Warrigal Rd Oakleigh (under the overpass), starts 8:00pm. You should come too and introduce yourself.

Re: Show us your Van
At the VCV meetings we sort out events, runs, workout more ways to promote vanning, meet & greet so its quiet an easy going club.
you are able to come along to a couple of meetings without joining to see if you like it and also great place for help and advice.
VCV's web site is: www.vanning.org
cheers

Obviously Original sin, you havent seen it in the flesh yet. It was sitting under a tree when the pics were taken on an overcast day, but she shines all right, saw it in the flesh last weekend, and she looks sweet

Just had another thought if you're still lookin for ideas on murals etc, go to Google Images and type in Alien or whatever and it'll bring up sh1tloads of pics. Not sure if you were aware of that or not, if not then good, if you were then, u know already hehehehehe
Not that i'm a keen mural person, oh no not me

Re: Show us your Van
i know it's not easy to decide on a pic either, you really need to think about it cos, unless you're made of money, you're stuck with it for a while (years) at least. And another thing to consider (this I learnt from living with an artiest), it should of course match colour/interior, but also suit the shape of the vehicle. Before i finally decided on this one (view avatar to the right), i had a couple of others, which would not lend themselves to be murals on vehicles due to details, size, colour and shape of the pic etc. if you can get yourself photoshop, you can play around and place pics over a pic of your van and see what it looks like, if that's too complicated, get some to do it for you. Anyhow, it's loads of fun and i can honestly say i'm still proud of the bonnet and am glad we had it done (well, the ex did it for me). By the way, if you're going to use another's artwork, it may be copyrighted so be careful, we actually changed a few things from the original so copyright no longer mattered. Just things to consider, some don't and don't have problems, i dread the day someone does.
