We will take along mobile ones also for back up, if I remember.

I plan to be back in Melb around 7th.....or even 6th. Gotta pick up Lilly - who is staying at THE RESORT whilst we go on van-about.

Think Muz & Kara have to be back on the 4th........

"Mr Bumpy" is all loaded, for the run over to "Wicked's" house, from there to Jan & Sway's Residence for the first night's stop.

Have a few odd jobs & trip prep to do on some vehicles.

A bit of a snooze over night at Jan & Sway's then the "Long Run!" shall begin proper!

Intended destination is Broken Hill, with many stops in between.

So far 2 returning dates, some have to be back on the 4th Jan, others are staying out for as long as required.
All vehicles will have UHF CB Radio (channel 17, seems to be the one we regularly use).

?? Badger - "REVVAN" (I think we have twisted his arm enough).

Also organised a Highspeed Broadband connection in my car, so email with most people can be answered aswell as forum updates etc.

Should be a great run, hopefully we can bump into other Vanners along the way...

Special Bonus at Lake Boga - Catalina Museum.

Well worth the stop if your ever Lake Boga way.
The lake is Dry currently & tourist trade is down for them, they would appreciate your business.
We indeed felt welcome, treated like Royalty when we stopped there.

Catalina Museum was fantastic, with more than just Catalina stuff, Life at Lake Boga at the time, history of the people station there etc.
The curator was a Gem, as well as a small theater where we viewed a short Video presentation, all worth stopping for!

Friday Evening we were hit by a severe dust storm with wild winds, so after a rushed shove (no packed) of everything into the vans we staked a claim over the BBQ shelter and set up camp!

"Skippy" never made it to Broken Hill!!!!!!!! (Think about it!!!!)








With another successful WASTELANDS run under our belts, we headed for Mildura......



M&M, Kev (The Happy Wanderer!) parted at Mildura for some extra traveling, with Kev then onto the Summer Nats.....
The rest of the ragtag fleet headed in the direction of home...... Stopped in Ouyen for a feed, at all costs avoid the "Fairy Dell Cafe!" where the food is undercooked, crap & or over priced........

I parted company at Sea Lake & headed home.
