WASTELAND 2009-2010 LONG RUN TO BROKEN HILL

Due to a few technical difficulties, the Long Run to Tasmania has been postponed for 12 months. Therefore a new venue was required (cos my boss is letting me have a holiday) so we have decided to try for Broken Hill again. Last time we didn't quite get there. We will be leaving from Melbourne on, or about December 26th 2009 and arriving back in Melb about January 8th 2010. The rest we will work out on the way. If anyone wants to come along please let us know. Our long runs are basically just a cruise to where ever we are going and back. Diversions along the way are welcome, that is why we don't make plans before we leave. Pack the van and off we go. stopping at campgrounds, or points of interest along the way. we will be stopping for a day or 2 just near Mildura at Gol Gol (hopefully) as it is a great camp ground that backs onto the Murray river. Not sure when though.
Everyone is welcome as long as you are coming for a nice drive and a fun Vanning holiday.

Just got to sweet talk the boss into getting some extra time off.
May not get the whole time off, but will see.
At least returning early from BH will be easier than Tassie.

so you've started the new job already? or you still planning time off to build the van in only a week??

Finish at Dingo 4th Sept, unless they finish me earlier (managers have all been in QLD at a conference, return tomorrow - thursday, we see what happens)...... which very well may hapen yet!

Start maybe new job on 8th sept or sooner maybe.......

Then again, still have 3 other job offers to think about and an interview saturday morning.

I love being popular!!!! 2 jobs was advertised, other 3 I am being head hunter...................

Still not sure 100% which way to jump yet..... But who ever wins me will have to accept my leave requirements for all xmas's and easter's off!
