Hi All here is some breaking news, as most of us know that the Geelong Street Rodders are helping us at the Van Nats. they have today got some news of there own about the 2011 Rod Nats. here is the email i just received:

at the ASRF AGM today Geelong was selected as the venue for the 2011 Nationals.
now the fun begins.

Hi Daz, This is a girl question, but can you explain what the difference between a hot rod and a street rod is and for those who wish to enlighten me, keep it clean

Its simple Kath. Hot rods are real steal and early style running gear ( no EFI etc ). Street rods are full on custom modern built chassis, fibreglass bodied and modern running gear etc.

not stickly these rule but thats the lay mans way of discribing them. or you could even say Old school / new school.

it's fun alright, never had a nats yet that I haven't enjoyed - people, alcohol, cars, alcohol, vans, alcohols, (hic)food, alcohol (hic).... get the picture?
