Great idea

Here is a great idea for Fords that have barn doors. Although the photos do not show this properly, it is a great way to stop your doors flying open. This van has gas struts mounted to the inside of the door just above the window and the other end mounted inside the door frame. Solid enough to stop the doors moving in the wind and easy enough to close without any damage.

I repaired the stayput mechanism inside my doors on the XG, they get bent when the doors open too far. Doors are pretty solid in the half open position now

with the struts at least the doors wont slam shut too
