Vic State Titles Sunday October 23, 2011

Vic State Van Titles will be on again in October at Carribean Gardens, Scoresby Victoria. For those that came last year, you'll be well aware of what a great day this was. Judging will NOT be the same as last year.
Would be great to see some interstaters as well... if you can make it, we'd love to have you there.

Latest news is that the Chrysler club has been booked for the same day with a show... so we should get a huge crowd coming to look at Chryslers and panel vans. You can let us know at vannats@live.com.au if you're coming or rock up on the day.

As my Van is registered in a State other than Victoria, is it Eligible to be Judged?

As it is a VCV Event, do you have to be a Member of the VCV to Enter?

Hey Russ... anybody can enter their van, you don't hav to b VCV member... its open to all. There is also 1st & 2nd interstate van, so depending on your competition, you may b in with a chance.... there's also a raffle with prizes and if the missus comes too, she can go shopping at the market and if the kids come too... there's a playground and rides. If you go to vanning.org.au, click on Events, and then click on State Titles for October, it will open a pdf with all the details. Lookg forward to seeing you there.

Ps. are we able to do a Club Stand and Display?

if you can manage to get them all together of coarse

u can do what you like, space is slightly limited though ... but shld be able to fit in some good displays... we have a nice grassed area not too far to walk to market, bbq's, takeaway and playground...

It will be extremely difficult to get all our Members together as we have Members in at least 7 of the 8 States/Territories and New Zealand.

We'll see who was able to make it on the day.

If the Compliance Plate on my Brand Spanking New Maloo Van says Utility, will it be Judged as a Van?

Well providing the weather is kind we are still planning on making the long haul down to this event. Can someone please tell me what time we are able to access the venue? Need to try and work out what ungodly hour we need to leave.Thanks in advance.

OR Stud Rd, Melway Ref 72J8. Go to Area 1 –

Gates Open from 8:30am to 6:00pm

JUDGED VEHICLES TO BE SET UP BY 10:00AM

Entry Costs*: Entry to Caribbean Gardens Adults $2.50, Child $1.00 (pay at gate)
Judged Vans: $10.00 (pay at Area 1)

BBQ’s on site or take advantage of the other facilities available at the venue.

Trophies: Victoria’s Top Ten Vans plus Best Interstate Van and Runner Up.

Coming from far north west Victoria. Checked on travel mate and its a 4 hour run to Scoresby for us.

sounds like there's going to be a fair few vans there.. woo hoo! Unfortunately the Chrysler club won't be there as per previous info, found out management at Caribean Gardens got the date wrong so they'll have their display on 16/10. Will still be a good day though, lets hope for some great weather.
