Message from The President VCV

Dear Vanning Community,
From now on, it has been decided that the Nationals are the only evant where proposals for future Van Nationals can be presented. Should you wish to present an Australian Van Nationals proposal for the following year, you will need to notify the VCV committee. However, should none be forthcoming by the VCV AGM at the Nationals (generally held on Good Friday), then the VCV will announce whether it will host the following year's Nationals or not. If not, then there will be no formal Nationals.

I disagree. I am not going to post a comment on another forum representing the VCV President or any other committee position, thats false representation.

No, the proper process is that someone should create a new user name on each forum and post the official message.

As a club member, I would have expected that you know the due process.

I have taken the liberty of the copy/paste and posted it on ECV forum., as I think Maz has enough on her plate with trying to organize next year's Nats. Don't understand what all the drama is about

No Dramas Maz., checked with admin before posting and was given the all clear, I use both ,so it wasnt a great hassle for me to copy/paste it on ECV....If other members from different clubs using multiple sites had done the same, it just shares the workload......

Why just 2 forums., what about the interstate forums and van clubs., don't they also need to be notified???? If you google australian panelvan forums, it comes up with 41,700 entries

I have forgotten to add something that may change your opinion of me. I have been on the VCV Committee many many years ago (I cant remember the year but I think it was in the early 1990's). As I recall, the VCV Committee at the time wanted interstate representatives and so I put my hand up for NSW.

I cant compare the current Committee to the one in the past but this latest fiasco is not a good demonstration of management and leadership by the current President and his team.
