hi, us again, has anyone morphed a vs commodore or stato dash into a hq/z ? not for our van but a friend of ours wants to try it cheers kerri&andrew

My father in-law and I once fitted an XF fairmont dash into a 63 falcon many years ago. Mate, you can fit anything into anything if you give it a bash and hold your tounge the right way Very Happy

gday,
there was a hq-wb ute at this years nats, had vs dash,doortrims, heater, centre console and steering column all grafted in.
looked good and fitted well. dunno who owned it tho.

The mounting is not really an issue, it's the length. If the length is good without having to cut the dash it's all good. Cutting the dash and finishing it off properly would involve vacuum covering the dash again and might not be an expense they want.

in the ute i saw at th nats the length depth and width of the vr dash was fine, because the door skins out of the commodore were used it has the air vent pods so it was all neat

not sure if it's the exact dash ur after but it certainly looks the goods.- HQ Coupe Bris Hotrod show a year or two back.
