Chroming???

Hi all Looking at getting some bits & pieces chromed...

Can anyone recommended anybody in Victoria that does it?
What do i need to do to pieces before chroming? remove bumps, rust etc?
And what sorta prices should i expect? Say for front bumper, rear bumperettes, standard rim?

Another related question what about just getting things nickle plated? Same place, prices?

$350 front bar, $60 each bumperettes, $50-60 for 20 wheel nuts

they have a bloke that they send the stuff to if it has dents and he gets them out for you. Last time he charged me $40 for 2 bumperettes to remove dents on one and a deepish scatch on the other.

Good to deal with.

That's pretty good value.... I went to a swap meet recently and a guy there was selling re-chromed front bars for $800ea..
