After having discussions with 2 other vanners on Sunday, it looks as if a Van Council will be going ahead. Very Happy
As you can imagine it's in the early stages at the moment, so there is not much details available as yet.
But at least it's got going.

Hi all , Just what would the roll of the van council be, and how would elections be held to put into place those persons who would run it.

At this stage there will be 2 members from each club, and 2 independants.(10 people all up).
It will be done in a way to get a run from each club for a different month and to get a level playing field between Vic & NSW when it comes to a show senario.

I wish everyone the sucess with this venture, unlike the first NSW Van Council. It would be more of a success if certain individuals didnt belong to it, but beggers cant be choosers.

I wonder who the first President and Committee members will be? Where will be the first run?

Still trying to get a few things sorted.
At this stage it's probably not going to called a "Van Council" but more of a "Trip Co-ordinating Group".
Once the finer details are sorted out, we'll then be able to start to get runs planned.
