The thought DID cross my mind but the missus gave me her opinion so i'm sticking with the same colour.
One of the colours i was thinking of was from the LE Monaro.

Whow the forum changed as I was trying to reply...weird but I like it. the colour is called LE red and that would look magic with the gold pinstipes. Did you get the inspiration from Julie? That car used to be my Dads and I done my lerners in it

This is my cousins van we finished two years ago. i will post some of mine that is due for paint in three weeks.

like the van... very nice.... what's with the Sandman ute in the background.... thought they'd stopped making Sandman's late 70's??

with the spotties and looks like big ariels on the front. its a feral tonner sandman. limited numbers tho.

There seems to be a couple of vanners from Perth getting onto the forum if they want to PM me we may be able to get together for a informal run or a drive in night in perth i know Fred and others are interested in meeting more vanners from Perth and maybe getting them to the Nats with us.
