Re: Modern Times
ok i'm a happy boy i got a set of 17's for $100 2 with realy good 255/40/17 tyres the fronts are narrower and hardly clear the upper ball joint i'm going to add some 10 mm spacers just to make sure
thats with the second rear sitting in place as it sits way to far in
the front rims
and the rear I'm going to sand it back and polish it

Re: Modern Times
and way front was off a few days ago only took me 20min witch was a real surprise
then a trip to fellow x falcon members place tyler06 saw me comeing back with this
that's usually the way with this one i have a basic plan and i'm really trying to stick to it.
still got to do the matching interior yet but first it to get her regoed
so i need to
remove 3 speed manual and fit auto
fix rust
organise 2 more 15 inch tyres
and fit new rear lights
then the fun begins
full respray (white again)
ltd dash with a small screen for camera where the climate control would be
line the rear with carpet and hints of polished wood
a decent stereo
and a turboed motor of some description (leaning towards a au motor and auto box but worried about strength)

Re: Modern Times
Don't think it's that hard to by pass the smart lock, or program new keys to it!

ok back of the new van
the rad suport i have to pull out of the parts van for the new one
drilling the spot welds

Re: Modern Times
Things are looking good. Always interested in seeing what has been done to the van. Like the Fairlane front, they look great. Keep up the good work

Re: Modern Times
Awwwww, i am so jealous, just what i want to, but you will find the back seat is different. I have a s/wagon back seat in mine but wanted to put an LTD set of seats in but the back is no go.
