Kiwi Van V8 WB Back in Australia!
Some might have seen a link that was posted in "The Swap Meet" section of the Majestic Vanners Forum with links to Vans For Sale in NZ.
The Purple Van "V8 WB" Cruised through Albury late last night on its way North, having cleared Customs in Melbourne earlier in the day.
It has been reunited with a Previous owner.
Pic taken in Kiwi Land by then owner..
Pics taken at BP North Albury (or Lavington to the Locals) last night by me, James will know where (No, he wasn't driving this one):
Unfortunately my Camera doesn't take very good Pics at Midnight.
I hear that there were Smiles from Ear to Ear (& who knows maybe even a tear ) when the New Old Owner picked it up. A Happy reunion.
Definitely a well travelled Van. I don't imagine that there would be too many that would go to the Land of the Long White Cloud and come back again.
Regards
Rusty!

Gidday Craig
It certainly is.
Rob's says: "Sold it 15 years ago to nearly the day! Spent the last 12 years tracking it down, the last 4 months trying to import it back to Australia, and you dont want to know how much money to get it back as mine!"
Regards
Rusty!

Re: Kiwi Van V8 WB Back in Australia!
Gidday Graig, Kerry & Woody.
Kerry & Woody's answer 1st - Rob Burns.
Craig - It was Atlantis Blue. Suttle things like placement of Side Vents, Statesman Badges, Number Plate Surround, multitude of bolts in front Bar, Dash, Door Trims, Sunroof, Roof Rack to name a few.
Then he rang the Guy who owned it and confirmed the VIN.
It went from there.
Lucky find I think.

It's currently getting sorted for Aus Reg and will be Rob's Daily Driver.
He'll be going on a few Runs as soon as he can.
