The rules for putting the battery is side the car, Question as i want to keep the engine bay tidy on the escort.It will be a gell battery Wink

its legal as like mazda/ ford ecconovan etc. have them behind or under the front seats if ya dont want fumes you must get a slealed agm or gel cell battery for saftey
