71,thats awesome,i started in 76.Went to one in Virginia in 78 that had 7,600 vans in attendence.That was just an amazing thing to see and participate in.The following year had 6,700.Thats great to hear that it was happening down there in 71.

i simply could not imagine 7,600 vans..... awesome, you just simply wouldn't get to see them all, would you?
I had trouble enough this year seeing the ones that we had (not sure how many) too busy workin to look and count - fun , but!

and you'd have to pack more than a picnic lunch to get around - motorised esky, film crew (with your back up memory cards), shower, toilet, etc.... lol!

now, you know me, i'm a holden girl through and through.... but, at the state titles, I finally got to see TimeWarp in the flesh and met Rod. For a Ford, that is a very very neat van... he will hopefully be at the nats....

I went to Roselands Hotrod Show in 1968 in my red FB van and there was a trophy winning Chocolate Brown windowless FC van on display. Custom Rodder did Carpark photos at the show and my FB was one of them,a few years before CV&t started.
