bubble window question
hey guys,
just recently found myself a dirt cheap rear bubble window for my wb, only catch is that it has a split in one side . so im just wondering if anyone knows if u can get them repaired and who i would see to get it done? also would it b worth it?
the other idea i had was maybe buy it and use it as a mould to get another one made, but again im not if this can be done or who i would c about doing it?
hopefully one of these options works cause they r worth a god dam forture!! hahaha
thanks guys
matt

Re: bubble window question
Why not try to make your own, couldn't be that hard just build a frame the size of the window. Then use a heat gun to soften the perspex till it droops, i did it once in the 70s, to make a clear roof for my suzuki 4wd. worked well till i rolled it.

Re: bubble window question
Much easier to just buy a new one from the manufacturer. Tinted rear bubble window for HQ-WB, below is the reply email I got for price plus postage to Qld.
Yes we do make these. Cost is $150.00 plus GST. Pack and freight would be around $60.00.
