Underbelly series 2
Guys, I am in contact with this guy and we need to source 20 vehicles. His budget is thin and most guys from the GT club are happy to do it for the experience and fun of spotting your car in the show. Bill has mentioned other things like signed photos with the cast etc. Some key vehicles needed will be paid but my LTD will be there for the fun of it.
I only know your vans and Azzas wagon (which the guy is very keen on, so Azza send me a pic to forward to him). The filming has a tentative date of 20 and 21 October around Richmond, the cars will be dirtied up a bit as it's supposed to be a country town. As you know I have had my van in that ad but this would be so much fun, you may even end up as an extra, here is Bills' email to the GT Club
we are in production for a second series of the popular tv show underbelly
we are shooting the first two episodes in western sydney in late october
these episodes are set in the mid seventies and i am in charge of sourcing vehicles for this
we will be needing a lot of vehicles to help establish the time frame and this will include
- a couple of prime movers
- a couple of two or three ton pantec or flat bed trucks
- vans
- cars
- motorcycles
all of these vehicles would need to be manufactured prior to 1977
they would be preferably manufactured after 1960
it would be good if the vehicles could come with the owners to whom we would provide breakfast and lunch
if you know of anybody with a vehicle that falls within these guidelines who is in the sydney/ western sydney area

Most of the cars etc you are wanting are all over here in NZ so you should film over here and get peter jackson to direct it

sounds like it's coming together, i don't watch any of that sort of stuff on tv, but if it does go ahead and does go on, let us all know and i will certainly make the effort to watch.

Underbelly is a damn good show but needs a better director, as to little dudes with big feet Peter Jackson got the idea watching aussies hurring around Sydney

Hi Guys, just recieved this a few minutes ago
hey bill
hey thanks for all the help
sorry i have not got back to u but our dates and numbers are still changing every day
i seem to have a shortage of white cars 73 - 76 do u know any one who has these?
i suddenly have a few police cars in the new script and need a couple more white
vehicles in order to do this
i am hoping to be back to u early next week with some definite dates
cheers Bill
anybody got a white car ???????
This Bill has not got back to me yet if he wants the cars I have sent pics of. I know he needs about 20 cars to set up the street of a country town, it may end up a High Performance town as that is all the cars I have so far. Got a couple of cars from CAVOA club
Azza where's your wagon dude ????
Scott need a pic of your tonner and wagon
