Re: My van from then until now
99% of the job done in house.
Missus did the interior and i did the exterior even the paint (and you can tell i've never painted before).
It's good from far, but far from good.

Re: My van from then until now
Looks sweet Agro, was there much stuffing around to do the full grille? Is it a standard height top and Statesman base with a chopped height version in the middle?
Thanks
Simo

I had some plates that were bent to shape, that i attempted to weld on the inside, but unfortunatly my attempts weren't as successful as they should have been.
Might be a job for a panelbeater somewhere down the line.

Re: My van from then until now
This van will be built for what i want , not what suits the family's needs.(That's what the HZ is for)
It's going to have a WB caprice dash, seats etc so it'll be basically a WB Caprice front interior.
For the rear interior i always liked the floor to roof section that went behind the drivers seat (XX308, Innervisions, etc). Not sure about the rest of the rear yet
It'll have twin grille's, twin headlights, L88 scoop. Still thinking about the sidepipes and flares.
Will have black HQ/HJ Sandman stripes.
It'll still be in it's factory Deville blue colour and roof racks will stay on, so no roof spoiler.
Still be 308 auto on LPG as it'll be the everyday driver for me, and the missus can use the HZ.

Re: My van from then until now
No mate.
My missus loves driving it.
She prefers it to her 1993 Mazda .
