Street Machine - August Issue - Van Nats

Hey guys, just got the August issue of street machine. Great to see the Van Nats in it. Some good pics too. To mention a few Jame's vans are in, street legal is in, the mystery machine is, mirage is in and I even got me & mine in pretty chuffed.

Thats cool that you got your van in Mandy. hopefull I can get RAMBLE ready for 2010 and join you guys.

i'm getting it tomorrow

i just tried but apparently its not in till next week??? seems the releases must be different dates in different states or some newsagents get priorities... not sure why, but anyways, i'll hopefully hav mine soon.

Don't worry Maz, I tried today as well with no luck.

People with subscriptions get the mag about a week before it hits the shops,mine arrived on Thursday.

looks like they fixed up their subscriptions. i did subscribe, but my magazine used to come about week to 2 weeks after it hit the news stands. i told street machine to shove it and what a hassel getting my money back.

can't wait to get the mag, another week away yet

Picked up my mag today also. Great coverage and some good info on some entrants vans, good stuff.
Good to see up the back in readers cars (vans) that there is a pic of Johns van "Gambler"

Is there any way that i can get hold of a copy of the opening pic to use for a poster?

Sorry Agro, but the feature had nothing to do with me!

Maybe drop them a line and see what they might be able to do picture-wise. That shot would have been great to use as one side of the pull-out poster I reckon!

i'm chuffed - beigy's a*se end is in SM! woohooo.... great to see so many pics of our nationals.... maybe we could get them back for next year and therefore make it a regular occurence that they do a feature on the van nats no matter where we are?? there's a couple of other bitsnpieces about vans as well, page 47 Dave Kraft with XY van page 141 John's HX sandman.... and yes, Stu's van on the cover. Good to also see some of the girls with their cars, granted, not vans, but there are some nice vehicles out there, luv the EK sedan too, and the pontiac. We should get Dawso to put a blurb of his rebuild in there, he's done a great job! Hmmm, been a while since i've read SM from front to back, and tossing up whether to subscribe, there really are just TOO MANY ads in there which is what turns me off, i believe more genuine articles on "how to" wouldn't go astray. Thanks again.
