Bathurst and back, a day run, a lap or 2 of the track, some happy snaps, take a packed lunch or buy something and sit in the large park just as you cross into Bathurst.

Re: General Chat
Do you usually spend the whole day there, or do you get there about 12 and leave about 4??

Re: General Chat
A full day includes cruise time, around 8.30-9.00 start ( depending on vans and cars that might join up a meeting place may have to be arrange like the twinn Maccas/ servo's northern side on the freeway to the mountains or the Eastern Creek servo on the corner ? ). Leave early - mid afternoon .

Re: General Chat
well i got the van back again today after the tailshaft was rebuilt and my brakes fixed again as after the van had sat so long the rubber seals on the rear brake cylinders perished, now has new cylinders and pads. Doing a tone on the Camden Bypass with quarter fuel left in the tank i took the sweeper and the van went "put put put put blah", apparently a quarter tank means empty in this van , had enough roll to make it to the servo only for the brake pedal to go flat to the floor again , filled her up and got her home, checked master cylinder and no brake fluid left, WTF.
Hopefully soon i will have this van sorted out, running out of time and fast.

Re: General Chat
lift you floor covering in the cabin behind the pedals and make sure your master cycinder is not leaking fluid inside.
Re: General Chat
Yeh checked that the first time, no signs of leaks, will investergate on sunday.
Manager of the workshop where the van has been getting fix told me they had a guy wanting to buy my van, NO WAY

I know they sold it a while ago, but take it to where the taplines used to be in Edward street. Geoff still does the head work for them (thats engine head work for those that saw the opportunity) and from what i hear they are doing a great job.
Could it be a simple matter of there being air in the lines??
