It was a great day, there were 45 vans there.
You could barely move because of the amount of people.
I'll have to put up a link to a picture gallery of the photo's that i took, because they wont all fit on the forum.
Spoke to some vanners from the 70's about some of the old van clubs.
It was like a history lesson but i was actually there.

ACTUALLY that was a crock of shit.

There were 11 vans there, and a beddy arrived for a little while (so there was 12 all up).
I didn't get any pics because my camera shit itself before we left to go down there

WOW what a great day out in the vans

had a Great time thanks to Doug and everyone else for making it a good get to geather.

Is it just my computer, or does Agro's van look light blue on everyone elses pc aswell, anyway its not a bad colour if your thinking of a change Agro,I know how much you like painting cars.

I've noticed that as well Ben.

its a bronzey/ gold colour ( factory i'm sure ) but i love the black bonet.

Yep, its a sort of early burnt orange/bronzy colour, and yeah the black bonett looks very cool.
Iam just in a silly mood 2night.

Re the paint on Agro's van - it's probably just bleached already - that's ok, gives it some more character he's going to repaint anyway

It's actually called "Contessa Gold", and Agro that blue is pretty nice...it'd give Wizard a run for his money.
...I tried for the tough, muscle car look with the black bonnet....well I did say I tried...

Van styling is one of those things- some people will hate what you do......but alot of people will also love it.

bummed i missed out going. Stayed home to look after Tania as she isnt well. only 3 months to go now. looks like you all had a good day. atleast the wind dropped off. its was blowing a gale down here for more than a week.

Hey Jamie, hope all goes well. When is the baby due? Tell her it'll all be over soon even though it seems the months will drag on... there is a "light at the end of the tunnel" so to speak Keep us posted.
