Van- the rods did end up coming out and saying hello
Agro-if chemiweld can fix that, I will try it on the small hole (3") on the side of the block
But before it died, it developed a bad traction problem

plus you wouldn't have to figure out what all those old people measurements actually mean

thanks.. so i'm old enough to remember.. i have people laugh at me when i do plans these days as 1/2 the messurements are in inches and the other in metric.

how did i know i was going to get comments re the iron?? to let you guys know, I had to cut the bench top, it was a 2.5m laminated bench top they were going to throw out at work (the kind you get in an office as a desk etc.) I had to cut it to make it fit and used the balance for the short part of the L shape. So the moisture doesn't get in, i bought the iron on laminate edging, hence the iron in the shed.... but yeah, you're right, one hell of a ironing board.....

I made a coreflute template for my XF, just went to look for it and not sure where it's gone......
Will look tomorrow in the day light..............
