Hey monk, thats crap, judging wasnt untill 3:30 last year and we still had over 300 cars there for the trophys, I would have thought a local who has kids would come and support a local show where all money taken for the day is givin to the Royal Childrens Hospital, your loss for not coming, over 30 trpohys and is one of the biggest country shows in Victoria, Andrew.

excuse me whos talking crap
l turned up there at 2.30pm & there be lucky to be 20 cars left on the oval
l have commented on this last year on forums about this show & know others were dissapointed but they can speak up themselves
we sat at the gates watching entrants leaving with the cops sitting outside booking several machines which is the lowest they can go
Daz & others will even tell you l commented on this last year
even the organizer of the event & me had words about it & he admitted it was over by that time & l should turn up early next time
lol one of the biggest events l dont think so l been to nearly all of them over the years & consider it average & l'm not knocking those who attend & support it but anyway l'm over it
l support the childrens hospital & that they donate to it is great but wouldnot bother getting any of my machines out for a few hours to attend ever, its not on my list but for those who wanna go enjoy it is up to them
Re: LATROBE VALLEY STREET MACHINE SHOW & SWAPMEET
Hey Daz, good to hear you will be coming, as for Monks comments I wouldnt lower the forum by telling him what I think, but more than happy for him to give me a call as I am only 2 minutes away from his house, Daz its a really good show with plenty for the kids fun such as jumping castle, face painting, amusements etc, some of the top cars already coming are Clint Oglebies Torana, the Summernats Dyno winning car from the Horsepower Factory ute, UCSMOKE that won the Burnout and front cover of this months Strretmachine Magazine, so heaps of cars and always a good day, see you there and if you need any assistance give me a Pm, cheers Andrew.

Well i had a good day, i believe the numbers were down on last year but there was plenty of nice vehicles to look at. Abig cruise was organised between clubs and i would say there were at least 30 on the cruise to the event. A good variety of vehicles on display and some real nice machines there. When i find out how to get pics off my phone i will post some

Hey james, it was good to catch up with you in my town, the show we went to wasnt the Latrobe Valley Street Machine show that was just a local Lions club shownshine, ours is in a couple of weeks time, I will catch up to you at your Bushfire appeal show and hopefully both you and Daz can cruise to my clubs show, talk to you in a couple of weeks, cheers Andrew.

Cmon Marion, its only 40 minutes down the road from you, you could make a cut lunch and grab a road map and make a road trip out of it, a couple of our club members are coming from Scoresby, Hallam and Dandenong so you could follow them, would love to see you here, so would Monk ( Cant wait to catch up with him ), cheers Andrew
