Well I did !!!!
And guess what, it was an awesum night, sorry to rub salt into the wounds of those who were going to go, but changed their minds, but I can't help it,you missed a great turn out,blacktown drive in was just about sold out with all sorts of nice looking machines, holden, ford, chrisler and a few hotrods. The rain held off untill literally 10 seconds after the movie finished,the movie wasn't too bad either,it is basically the pasion of a man for his car, its showing for a few more nights at blacktown, so you may consider having a look, or rounding up other vanners and making a night of it.
Sorry again but it was a great night.

I agree the night was really good, seeing all the old cars turn up. Only 3 Panel Vans turned up. I can relate to what was said, in the movie, about people who have owned their vehicles for years, some don't even drive them, but to know you can walk into your Garage and there it is. I've had my Van for 31 years and still enjoy it.

Great event in Melbourne too. Some super hot cars and plenty of vans. Good turn out from DV Vanners. Should have taken the camera.

Not sure why you would bring your ute to the drive inns on a trailer then unload it to drive the last 25 metres to park it and watch the flick Whats going on there If it's a car, drive it. If its an ornament stick it on the mantle piece.

Trailering cars to events.....not a big fan of it.

It seems strange to tow it for a 25m drive.

I was going to go, then i wasnt due to the Girls being sick and the hole in the bonnet mixed with rain but called Ben and he said its a great turn out, hanging to go and just drive the van, i went with the help of Chris kicking me out. Was a good turn out, tunred up just as he stacked the coupe, 10 sec before that i pulled up in front of Doug and Ben to block there vision , lucky it was before the stack.

Nah, Azza wouldn't drive around with a hole in the bonnet and nothing to fill it.......... ( I hope )

Catcher still there but bought the bonnet with the hole already cut, cut is slightly bigger than what it should be so if it flogged down with rain i could have some issues as Ben said the Dizzy is at the rear and right in line for a good soaking also havnt got the butterflys in due to them being faded, to much water straight in the catcher might have me stranded on the side of the road. going to mesh it.
