Re: What made you build your van
Why a Van......
Always wanted a van, could never find one that just grabbed my mind and shook the crap outta it!
Many a mission to buy a van has been sidetracked, went round to check out an XB van - purchased the guys XC Hardtop instead, the car just got into my head soon as I saw it.
Still want Xb or Xc Van, just can't find a Van that gets into my head, doesn't matter what badge it has on it, cars have a soul or at least a presents that takes you over. Lost count of the cars I have chased down freeways etc for miles to catch cause they had a for sale sign in the window....... and ya just gotta have!
Sedans are ordinary............ not much room for the imagination.
Hardtops / Coupes.............. Good for the fact they are a rare commodity, still limited.
Wagons............................ Chop'd top family Van (well my opinion) & many good examples have inspired me.
Utes................................ Had many, & will always refer as SoftTop Panelvan or Summer Only Optioned!
Vans................................ It just has to be a Van, Big $$$ or No $$$, plenty of leg room in the front for my imagination, plenty of
space out back for my Ego. Versatility, Acoustics, Full Horizontal Olympics Arena.
