Recently done the Wagon rear seat mod myself.... all engineered & legal to seat 6 now.
Was pretty straight forward, some of the captive nuts are already in place!
I'm out near Dandenong, so anyone wanting to have a closer look is more than welcome.
Have a complete Black Trim XE Fairmont Wagon rear seat going cheap, I finally found an almost perfect match Tan one now!

hey Vantom, with this conversion they usually fit the floor section of a wagon, with the wagon fuel tank with a drop in spare, thats my plan anyway. Gives you a nice storage area too and if you dont doo the seat thing, wagon tank gives you a massive storage bin behind the front seats under the floor
