Well done James. On xfalcon forum there are two vans with wagon rear floor conversions, I was also thinking of the same on my XF. Can you post some pics of the interior please. Cheers Bill

Re: my latest van
its an easy conversion the hardest part is moveing the tank as the ford vans are already fitted with a wagon floor minus the seat tabs neededford351 wrote:hi james like to see more photos of back seat thinking of same

Re: my latest van
may as well push the friendship while im at it
Where the pnel that sits behind the seat where it has to be cut off the sides (just in front of where your wood speaker panels are
The complete mounts for the seat belt mounts (all of them) so i can see how theyre mounted around the wheel arch and the lap belt where it bolts near the tunne
Also does it lock in somewhere when folded flat
thanks heaps

Re: my latest van
yeah, 93 XG
i had vans through the 80s (bedford and 2 HJs) and never really got over them
when i found out about the Sandman at the motorshow several years ago i clled some people at Holden trying to order one before i even saw it (btw: ive actually driven that Sandman and the utester and lots of others)
Almost bought vans a few times over the years but it never happened
few years back i sold a caprice and the guy in the factory next door had this for sale and i was going to buy a ute for work but snapped this up instead
Im a holden man but better any van than no van

Re: my latest van
very interesting, sounds like you must have some contacts at Holden. The Mambo van is currently at GMH in their display area in Port Melbourne

Re: my latest van
I actually helped in the build of the Monza, i worked for HDT Special Vehicles in North Melbourne building the SS's and HDT cars, also got to drive Peter's race car (vk) from the race shop in the street behind to our workshop. What a great job it was.
