midnight spares movie wanted

How funny is that. I was driving home from work along Church Street Parramatta where they were filming the Trans-Am theft from Suttons. I was just cruizing it was like 2am or thereabouts, I was looking in the car yards and had to swerve around this dude in the middle of the road when i turned my eyes back to the raod, and so I drove straight through the film location that the dude was there to stop.I was in my '73 Fairlane ... Walnut Glow with a mural by Wayne Harris on the bonnet. Booked five times by the same cop ...headlights too low, tyres too wide twice for each and also have a claxton horn, if he saw my car he would turn around and chase me. I'd pull the big wheels off, throw em in the boot, which with the standard profile tyres on the front would lever it up just enough for the headlights and send my sister to get the defect cleared at the RTA. Maybe I should mention it had one of those ute wings on it too, done by Freedom, level with the roof, way before ricers put big wings on their cars, a guy at the auto store used to call it the Daytona Fairlane

So you were to blame for all these Jap cars with big wings....lol
