Re: Qld Titles 2010 - Morayfield
So the short answer to the question, is Yes.
We had a visit from the Red Baron.
Congratulations to the Sunstate Panelvan Club for putting on such a quality event. There were dozens of Vans and hundreds of street machines that braved the weather. Fortunately the weather which threatened often wasn't too much of a dampener on proceedings and a healthy flow of general public were treated to a fantastic show of Qld's best Vans and street machines.
Van Results (To the Best of my knowledge)
Encouragement: Red HQ (merc front clip)
Original: Green HG (PVN071)
Paint: Cobra Sundowner - (VAN17)
Murals/Grfx - Purple VY
Drive Train - Red Baron
Exterior - Illusions
2nd Interior - Orange XL
Top Interior - Red Baron
8th Top Van - Blue WB
7th Top Van - Drifter (Titch's)
6th Top Van - Red Sandman (PVN050)
5th Top Van - Vantastic
4th Top Van - Illusions
3rd Top Van - Flash Harry's HZ
2nd Top Van - Orange XL
Top Van - Red Baron
(Also present but not judged were Phoenix and the Concorde.)
Congratulations to the owners of all the Vans, it really was a spectacular display.

Fres, I figured you got it OS back in '08... that shot was too good not to take... plus i knew you were the one to ask to make sure the Quey van was the one i thought it was...
And a nice big one with a sponsors mention...
The weather has been absolutely shot since then i rekon the show just got the last few hours of semi-dry weather left in QLD.

Thanks for putting up the pics soundman. Some nice rigs there. That red sandman looks mint. I am guessing the EH with the 70,s loungeroom portrait inside is probably concealing a window fill in. LOL. Great stuff though and looks like a successful future for this show.

Yere thats the one Soundman. Nice looking van but the amount of EH and EJ vans that are having windows filled now is incredible.
I have owned quite a few of these over the years and am leaving on a major roadtrip tomorrow to pick up another factory EJ windowless van. It has taken me three years of hard searching to find a factory windowless one that is worth doing. And yes I am very excited.
The timing isnt great as I have just purchased a brand new VE van but I cant walk away from the EJ as it may take many years to find another decent one.
