Found this pic online and just wondering if anyone has any more info on this van?

Looks to be an ek van but im unsure if it was a wagon converted into a van or a van with wagon rear 1/4s converted onto it.. Looks awesome I think

anyone?

I wont swear on a stack of bibles but i think they were known as a sedan delivery wagon, the bastard son of a station wagon and van.
they where special order for large companys like meyers, newspaper corps, and quite a few where used in the haberdashery (linen & material) trade.
I used to work for a company that and old photo in the reception back in the sixties of a heap of sedan delivery wagons lined up in there dock in company colours, there where EK/FBs and some fords(yankie) and XM/Xp vans.

Like i said dont make me swear to it. Very Happy

okay i'm not sure if it's the same vehicle, but In this thread
https://vanners.forumotion.com/cruises-and-events-f4/car-show-photos-t34-60.htm
about half way down Mexican posted a picture of a similar van. - different rims no trailer its hard to tell much else from the small pic. on page 6 there is more discussion, he thought it had tell tale signs of wagon conversion rather than qtr panel graft i think a whole lot of van would have to be used tailgate surround etc the roof height seems to be Pvan for that era.

this van started life as a sedan off all things.

was talking to the owner 'HEMI' at the FB EK nationals at forbes NSW in 2007.

its only window less on the drives side. has a rear fold down seat. pretty cool bit of gear

SMQQTH Cool
