Will a HQ front bolt upto HJ-HZ guards and bonnet?

Holdenpeadia says no....Does it even go close enough for me to do a weld job???
Am I a no chance on ever getting the bonnet to close?

Not even close, There is the issue with the bonnet ridges not marrying up for starters. Then the outer sides of the gaurds are completely different press lines to the Qie front.
If your really wrapped in the Hq front a whole front clip should be sorced. They will line up at the doors but the bonnet ridges will miss the HJ-HZ scuttle panel under the windscreen but this can be battered and bogged.

Ps. the hj--hz one tonner front is the old hq front just with a different grille. they shouldnt be to hard to sorce.

Very minor ridge line, not as sharp as the later ones

Thanks mate sounds like hard work, might just get over my desire to have the hq premier front. Will put it on Ebay I think and stick with the original plan.

The best thing to do is go and see Greg (ozbox) at Toronto.
He's a top bloke and is a wealth of knowledge and will SHOW you the difference.

if you put the hole front on. it is only the scutal (wiper pannel) thats different. (thats the gaurds bonet rad suport & front pannel & bar) it the same as if puting on wb stato front on hq just the scutal is diferent.
