2011 Van Nats

Hello All out there in vanning land.... we'd like to put it out there, for those who would like to volunteer to be judges this nationals.... we're looking for committed people who know how to judge a van and/or street machine. You can be male or female (or both LOL), if you'd like to be a judge but haven't the training or experience, that's fine, it can be arranged. The offer is there from experienced judges to run some training courses, so don't be shy if you'd like to get into it. We'd love some of the younger generation to come forward, as some of the "oldies" (sorry) would like to retire. Please let us know via our email address vannats@live.com.au. You have until mid Feb to come forward. Think about it, discuss it with your peers or even those that are judges to find out what's involved. We look forward to the continued support from the vanning community.... 96 more to the nats folks....

Also note: The theme for this year's nationals is War Heroes and War Villians.... pre-1970.

Wonder what happened to all those people who said they would like to be a judge, who said they can judge better than any of the judges we've had in the past... and then the serious ones who really sincerely want to be judges.....?????? Well, I guess, a nationals without judging...hmmmm, how does that sound? Sarcasm aside - this is our only hitch - everything else is in place and pretty much ready to go.... any takers??

i have judged before, so i am actually interested, will do all catagories if i have to, lol

Hey everyone, we need your help, somone desposited $50 on 17/2/11 into the VCV account with no details. Apparently it was deposited in Qld. Can we ask you all, in particular in qld, if you know someone who is coming to the nats, to make contact with us via vannats@live.com.au and let us know who they are. If no one comes forward and verifies, it will be considered a donation to the cause from a friendly soul.

Hi everyone, we have managed to negotiate the following:
2 laps around the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit as part of the convoy on the saturday morning:
Cost: $45.00/person (Pre Paid)
Minimum: 50 x vehicles
Timing 10.30- 11.00: Registration commences Visitor Centre - (Indemnities need to be completed)
Circuit: 11.00 move from VC to gate 7 entrance to track to complete 2 x laps - maximum 80kph
Activity completed and exit venue: 11.45

We must have a committed response by 31/3/11 and it must be prepaid. If we have insufficient responses, this will not go ahead.

Please email your response to vannats@live.com.au and pre-pay to the VCV bank account. Ensure your name and "GPConvoy" is in the description.

Note this is per person.....

Still waiting...... 2013, so for once we got 2 years up our sleeve, that plenty of time for someone to get proposals in at WA for 2014!!!!!! that will keep us 2 years ahead on Nats!!!! and lots time to get that proposal ready!!!!
