Re: Neville in Da Flesh
Finally finished it!
Was gonna get the bumpers re-chromed but it just gets driven way too much! I really wanted to get those half-moon hot rod headlight inners (like shaggonwagon82) but I`m thinking I`d then get some young peeler sending me off for a roadie that I`d have to pay for because he suspects it`s illegal! (the trans dept fellas really love it BTW )
but... Got a thumpin` new 308 with a twin system and old school mufflers, nothing too loud just sounds sweet as a nut! Very quiet on the highway too Got all the front suspension sorted, some new Yokie fatslappers all round and it now rides and handles like a dream! I did`nt think an old ute could handle that good but it really is THAT good!
Finally finished it so now I`m spending all my play money on UPULP
Should`ve given the grill a quick lick of paint and pushed the bonnet down before I took the pic but that`s life...
Still playing with that bonnet
Finally finshed it!

Re: Neville in Da Flesh
14 X 8 all round there AGRO... 235 on the front, 245 on the back.
You can get HZ GTS billets 15 up to X 10 (I think) but a bit too much more than what I was prepared to pay for rims!
Cheers for nice comments fellas... Glad other people enjoy seeing it

Re: Neville in Da Flesh
Rusty's replica '77 sandman must have started a 2009 craze..
I'm building a kermit green (home coloured) hz sandman replica too.
Just finished painting will be bolting back together this weekend.
As i've said before, if mine half as bad, she'll be smick.
Very nice ride, the city dwellers do love em on the roads... reminds you why you love em yourself.
Registering mine early Jan...

That`s where I got my idea from and the best thing about doing a replica is that you can change the colour of your day
Look foward to seeing yours...
